To read their story, check out their website: www.pielab.org.
Our current board consists of Dr. Anne York, Jeffrey Schrager, and Deborah Dicks Maxwell, all of Wilmington, NC.
Anne began her teaching career in the 1970's working in inner city and coal mining county high schools in Alabama and Mississippi. She went on to a career in industry and higher education and is currently Chair of NHC NAACP ACT-SO.
Jeffrey is an entrepreneur and philanthropist whose family foundation focuses on education, diversity, and community needs. He is also Managing Director of Schrager Capital Management, LLC.
Deborah Dicks Maxwell is a social worker, veteran, and president of the New Hanover County Branch of the NAACP, as well as NAACP District Chairman and Co-Chairman of NHC ACT-SO.
Two emeritus directors assisted in the start-up of Pie Lab in Omaha: Gretchen Radler, serial entrepreneur and Omaha's "pie lady," and Tory Robinson, personal trainer and sports psychologist who coaches youth soccer in North and South Omaha, among other volunteer activities.
